There are desserts, and then there's a silky custard beneath a caramelized sugar shell kind of dessert, crème brûlée. I'd tasted the sweet treat before, but ever since that first spoonful on a date night, I’ve been on a mission to indulge in every brûlée creation I can find.

Welcome to Brûlée Bae,
where I indulge my sweet tooth and take you along for the ride.
This series is a love letter to all things brûlée—whether it’s the classic French custard, brûlée-inspired pastries, or unexpected twists on this decadent dessert.
FUN FACT: I recently had Mexican-style brûlée.
P.S. If there’s a brûlée variation out there, best believe I’m tracking it down.
The Cravinz Begin
My journey started with the traditional crème brûlée—simple yet divine. But then I discovered that brûlée isn’t just limited to its custard form, especially once I was served the treat topped with pears. Mmmm! Afterward was a Japanese Brûlée Crépe, a soft, twisted dream with ice cream in the center and that signature torched sugar crunch. Then came cookies, and the bruleesant with whipped cream, a croissant hybrid that takes flakiness to new levels. And you know I’m not the gal to stop at the basics, I found myself sipping on a brûlée matcha smoothie, a fusion of earthy green tea and caramelized sugar bliss.
Let’s not forget the Mexican crème brûlée I had on my birthday last month, with its hint of cinnamon spice, giving the dish a bold twist.
Each stop on this journey fuels my enthusiasm, and I can’t wait to share every brûlée bite with you.
What’s Next?
I'm just gettin' started. Brûlée Bae is more than just a series—it’s a lifestyle.
If there’s a brûlée-infused delight, I’m findin' it, tastin' it, and givin' you the N'side scoop. Got a brûlée recommendation? Send it my way. The journey is just heating up, and trust me, you don’t want to miss what’s next.
Stay tuned for my next indulgence, because when it comes to brûlée, there’s always room for more.
With love (and caramelized sugar),
Pynnderella
Holler.
